The Thumper was created to solve a problem found in applying tape. As a home builder, we have the specific task of marking the interior and exterior of homes with blue tape so contractors can find areas of concern and repair them. These taping sessions become inconvenient because of how long it takes to complete. One day, with a broken golf club found on the job, I was trying to adhere tape to the ceiling of a particular home. I was using it like an extension pole and the tape would constantly fall to the floor, it became such a hassle. That same week, I was applying many individual pieces of clear tape to hang up several signs. Again, I knew there had to be a more convenient way to apply tape. Enter “The Thumper”.
